Sitting on my 'inbox' this morning was a map showing with clarity exactly where the premises were in relation to the surrounding streets.
There was no development on that side at all with the street layout yet to be put in place to service the housing that was to come....
Thanks again John for this 'gem' along with ther ancillary beer mat pictures; shame we can't materialise the 'good stuff' that sat on them!
PJK I'm glad the brewery picture invoked such pleasant memories of your GGG. I think in those days most of the local licenced premises were owned or supplied by T.W. or Cobbs of Margate. Serious socialization took place in the pubs where news and scandal was swopped about the local happenings and goings on in Ramsgate. Reminds you of something that can't return but we have those memories to cherish and swop amongst ourselves.
