Yes, I missed yesterday but be assured I kept busy. With showing the new encumbant around locally to prepare him for the coming week and of course keeping the place 'spick and span'. The day of rest disappeared and here's Monday and another glorious week ahead... Spoon arrived for another two week holiday while his family have gone to the island of Crete. Day of rest...

What's this about Sunday being a day of rest? Doesn't seem to happen here especially since I retired. Yesterday I volunteered to take Fahti (leaving student) to his meeting point to pick up the coach to the airport. I arrived back here at 0010 this morning. Grabbed some sleep and forgot to reset the alarm so was woken with the dulcet tones of Radio 2 at 6am. As I was expecting a new guest this afternoon I thought I'd better get started. Just as well I did, he arrived at midday. He's gone out exploring now armed with a map of the town suitably annotated showing the route to and from here, lets hope he gets back in time for his dinner! Still it's given me a chance to log today's happenings so far...
